Just Cause 3 Parachute To Be Removed | Shit Casual
Just Cause 3 developer Avalanche Studios have announced that the parachute feature in the game is set to be removed.
Just Cause 3 has seen one of the biggest game sales of 2015 and Shit Casual can now reveal that the games developer Avalanche Studios have decided to remove the parachute feature due to it being to over-powered.
“When we introduced the parachute feature in earlier games it was considered to be a help, rather than a hindrance.
We have decided to remove this feature in the game to make it more challenging for players to land on the ground without a parachute.
The game was released last month and saw record sales on Xbox One and PS4 however players began using the parachute feature immediately and it was decided by the publishers that it was far to over-powered and should be toned down to allow greater landing flexibility.
One gamer said in a statement;
“This is disgraceful, I am now expected to land on the ground using only the wing-suit and its making an awful mess.
Clearly the need for the parachute was to allow the player to win everything and escape at any time”
There had been talk within the gaming community that the Just Cause 3 parachute was going to be nerfed down to just one chute per flight instead of unlimited chutes, however it has now been decided to remove it from the game altogether.
A spokes person for publisher Square Enix raged;
“If players can find the ability to continually land with a parachute then its clear they can find an ability to continually land without one.
We are in the industry to make fun and appealing games, not ones where you win everything on your first go.”
Game sales and player stats have dropped considerable in the last few days since the changes have been announced and the new patches are expected to come into force next week.
