EA Sports Apologies For Perfect Gameplay In OTP Mode | Shit Casual
EA Sports sent out a public apology early Wednesday afternoon on concerns that its popular game, NHL 16, was doing phenomenally well in “OTP” mode.
“OTP” or “Online Team Play,” is a feature in NHL 16 where users can play in an online game session together from around the world. Each player has their own position on the team and attempts to work together through poor communication skills.
EA has sent out this press release dated for Wednesday, December 16th, 2015. It reads:
“Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) would like to publicly apologize to its loyal gamers playing NHL 16. Our servers have been working at 100% speed with zero downtime and we here at EA find this against our standards of quality.”
